2) not many characters believe in him but the ones that do spend too much time thinking about him I feel. It's like in Naruto where Naruto's small group of friends seemed to almost worship him at times

3) the power creep is alright. I feel like the small bit of Yuno vs Painting Kid we had was not a good indicator of how strong painting kid actually is at full strength

4) I thought the plot was incredibly boring until the word demon showed up. Now I'm pretty invested in things

From what we've seen so far it's implied ancient and forbidden magic are of demonic origin. So why not extend that to grimoires aswell.

I think it’s more that Devils can corrupt people into demons by turning their grimoires into 5-leafs, and that 5-leafs let them have the same “body”, but just one that can permanently stay in the physical world without the need to be summoned or magic stones. I’m only saying this because Wevil seemed pretty satisfied with his work so far and is taking his leave. Now that Patri has been corrupted by the Devil, he can turn into a demon.

The next tense arc was established right here, almost 100 chapters ago. Tabata literally spelled it out but people still don't get it. Mars is going to attempt to control the king of Diamond, Morris will catch wind of it and then Asta will have to go bail him out. This became even more obvious when the Bulls got their mobile base, because it makes it trivial for them to travel around.

I'd like this to happen because that would completely discourage Asta's goal 100%.

Fact is, the biggest results from this saga ending will be

>Clover Kingdom fucking kneecapped in terms of power and stability
It's the perfect opportunity for Spade to finally be made known by having them try to send a force at the weakened Clover.
That could also lead into the next saga in Diamond as Mars could swoop in and stop the Spade forces, only to turn around and ask Clover Kingdom for help taking over Diamond with the promise of an alliance against spade should they succeed.
Then you gotta get Heart in there somewhere and get everything set up for the final saga being a huge ass war against Spade Kingdom (who will probably be run by Devils at this rate)

That's only if Clover informs the other kingdoms about it, assuming they would even believe Clover in the first place. Heart is friendly with Clover so they might, but the other kingdoms could just assume Clover is trying to trick them or something.

Not really. They traded Julius for Salamander and dozens of elf buffs to Clover's knights. Not to mention even people like Solid seem intent on actually training now. As strong as Julius was, I'd argue that Clover is now stronger than they were before the arc started.

Spade is isolated for a reason. Tabata likely wants to save them for some kind of an end game surprise, so it would be dumb to just waste the reveal on another invasion arc right after the previous one. They may not even know what's going on in Clover because they're so far away and because their spies were defeated by Golden Dawn.

I think a more natural continuation is for the devil to escape and for the Bulls to start chasing after it. The devil benefits from bringing despair, so the Bulls would have an incentive to try to solve the other kingdoms' problems before the devil takes advantage of them.
