Does Yea Forums prefer anime or manga? Personally, I enjoy manga much more, and I get a lot out of collecting each volume.

Adaptations are almost always just okay at best. I first realized this was video game adaptations a long time ago and over the past decade or so I've come to realize it holds true for things like manga and LN too.
I almost always prefer manga to anime now, I only really watch anime if it's an original.

I used to be a anime only with a lot of series series but over time I moved onto manga
It kind of started with one piece where I really enjoyed it but I dropped it I think somewhere during the early zou arc where I was really getting sick of all the obvious padding, terrible animation and ungodly slow pacing and now I read the one piece chapters as they come out
I also kind of did it so I don’t have to worry about spoilers while I browsed this place and other sites like YouTube
Other series I did this with are one punch man (fully caught up to both the manga and the webcomic) and jojo’s bizarre adventures (mostly caught up with part 8). I used to watch every episode of these shows but now I have only watched the first few episodes of the golden wind anime and I’m not sure whether I will touch OPM season 2 at all
I think I just enjoy the scenes a lot more in manga form and being able go through it at my own pace
