>Medieval setting
>post-1940 lingerie
Defend this.
Medieval setting
It looks good.
It's sexy.
Your argument
vs
My dick
what if I don't care about that?
that's really sexy, btw
Rule of sexy
God I want to impregnate Louise
Decadence knows no time
>medieval setting
>women wear clothes that would make them cheap prostitutes in that time
thank God you ain't in a position of power there m8
medieval setting is not "literally the middle ages", and Lugunica is at least 1600 anyway
>medieval Japan
>medieval western setting
>everybody acts like Japanese
artistic licence > historicity since forever
>Europe setting
>prices are all in yen
>fantasy world isn't a historically accurate medieval Europe that parts of it vaguely resemble
Why does this trigger autists so much?
>Victorian Europe
>tofu and chopsticks
Kyoanus fags will defend this
>Wild west setting
>women dress like prostitutes
I'm not triggered, but it's funny.
Nothing unusual about that.
Maybe because it's not "slightly altered history", it's writer's incompetence
>medieval setting
>has a somewhat accurate portrayal of the time period
It's not a historical piece, it's a fantasy world.
They still don't have XX century technology to make things
Japanese people cannot world build.
prove me wrong.
Magic
Sky is blue
Magic is a lame excuse especially when even the author doesn't care to explain
Beauty standards change over time a lot.
Being skinny and thin is more a modern thing you know.
Something like this was more modern and hip in the middle ages and in the enlightenment period.
Not obese but a healthy fat definitely over 25 BMI.
It's not a lame excuse if the entire world works with magic
You don't have to explain magic.
Actually, that's the laziest excuse even imaginable
>showing naked skin
A SLUT!
>wastes it without any reference to actual events of the period
>all just to make a Joseph and marie virgin birth biblical reference
Bernard was the only character I liked
>Medieval setting
>white clean opantsu
Yeah.
White dirty opantsu would make it more period accurate.
They had the hundred year war going on in the background.
>self portrait of a 40 year old woman as ideal of beauty
You're wrong.
It's that most of these aren't made as historical novels but merch bait of self insert fantasies. Isekais aren't real world time skips they're mostly Dragon Quest inspired fantasy settings.
All of these are historically accurate as fuck:
>Kingdom
>Kusuria no Hitorigoto
>Taisho Otome Watanabashi
>Arslan Senki
>Vagabond
>Vinland Saga
>Thermae Romae
>Historie
I know Asians are cute and all but get your shit together this is a 20 year old european woman.
I mean look at this 2000+ year old Greek sculpture restored of their goddess of love.
Who is this again?
And again goddess of love 3rd century BC.
She is Priscilla. I don't even recognize her. The anime really need to come back now that the LN is moving ahead.
That's what I'm saying: They explicitly placed it during the 100 Years War and put a lot of effort into categorizing the English and French forces, their arms and lifestyle, but, besides one mention of Joan of Arc, it could have taken place in any generic medeival world for lack of important events or people: the Kingdom of Elvania had been fighting Fronkreich for 100 years during 1432 "in the year of our father," and the angels and witches shouldnt interfere.
Like when Joseph marched off, I was expecting it to be Crecy, Poitiers, Agincourt, or Patay that Marie influenced, but it was just some generic place. The city that was sieged with a bombard wasnt a real place or event, which just makes it feel weak. The reason I liked Bernard was because he started theorizing his heresy through analysis of historical theologies and scriptural confliction--every other place and person was pure fiction. If so much care is put into trying to fit it as historical fiction, making everything else fantasy just detracts from the experience.
Yes and
I agree, medieval setting was a mistake
>Medieval setting
But it isn't. It clearly 15-16 century. There's just no firearms, probably because magic exists.
To be fair, Asians in general age well depending on genetics.
My cock will defend it.
It's already full mast.
>Japanese don't understand society outside their island
BWAAAAA?! No WAY!?
>Priscilla will never command you to lick her feet like a dog
Why live?
Good.
Bitches like her have no right to command others.
They are only good for hardcore mating press and serving as sex slaves to their masters.
Those accurate medieval war scenes
>>Medieval setting
That automatically means that it's full of anachronisms, not only in fashion.
