Precisely the point of the scene, my friend. What he was saying wasn't unfounded, but lashing out out of frustration wasn't going to accomplish anything. It's the basic outline for the lesson of that entire arc. Just being right wasn't enough.

basuru deserves better

who cares about the moral shit?

>Waaaa I hate dying even though I actually can't
>Waaaa I love Emilia so much I'll act like an autist in foreign land courts and insult established officials.
>Waaaa my friends keep dying horribly except I could literally redo outcomes by just jumping off a cliff.
I know he is a kid and I should stop projecting my mature views and expect him to act like an adult but I at least expect him not to act as autistic as he does. Guy is a total sperg.

Season 2 the fuck when?

I hate how you’re guaranteed like 3 years of wait for nips to make a S2 of a successful show. Maybe if they open their chink fucking eyes a little, they’ll have more foresight. Fuck.

I don't think dying is a fun experience that you could get used to, even if you know you will come back
Also isn't there an issue where he can't always come back after a certain point, making the deaths of certain characters permanent?

It's not about morals, it's about self control. Had he not sperged out, things would have been much easier for him in the coming crisis.
Burning bridges removes options that you might need.

>lashing out out of frustration wasn't going to accomplish anything
You just wrote he lashed out due to "frustration", not to accomplish things. You shouldn't contradict yourself like that, user.

>made everything work alright

Let's take a look at everything Subaru accomplished before this scene.

>stopped an assassination by getting reinhardt to intervene
>stopped demon dogs from killing a couple of villagers or something by getting big clown cock to intervene

Wow what a hero. I have an idea, if Subaru ever wants to stop dying horribly he should avoid hanging around with Emilia and not repeat doing the things that got him in trouble such as walking into the same back alley four times in a row.

Only if you are a desperate 14 y/o. Then again it's the main target audience so can't really blame you for being one.

He did. But he's a fucking sperg who literally cannot close his mouth and cannot keep his cool.

Seriously all he needs to do is think before saying shit.

it's just about social rules. people don't care if you are right or wrong, as long as you don't present your point in a way they deem acceptable they'll reject it.

I'm genuinely curious why he even bothers. I mean, if the girl's not into him, she's not into him. You might give your life for a woman, but he's given his life MULTIPLE TIMES.

You'd think any sane man would go "You know what, fuck it, it isn't worth the effort. I'm going to find the nearest brothel, fuck a woman who lets me call her 'Emilia'. I'll miss you most of all, Mr. Clown."

>You might give your life for a woman, but he's given his life MULTIPLE TIMES.
Not like she's aware of it.
But yeah, the logical way to deal with it would be to just go "fuck it" and stop chasing her. Love isn't logical though and this isn't 3D so it's not impossible for him to succeed eventually.

I think the point is that he's a) too autistic to act like a normal human being, and b) he feels like he's already earned Emilia's affection ten times over, because, as you said, he's given his life for her multiple times. He feels entitled to her affection, he's hungry for some sort of reward for all his past sacrifices. Sort of like the sunk-cost fallacy?
But I don't know though, this is just my take on things. Maybe everything I just wrote was wrong. I don't know though.

That's the problem. From his point of view he has given Emilia his life 20x, but Emilia only remembers the few days.
Obviously that huge difference of experience is going to make anybody blow up sooner or later.

>a) too autistic to act like a normal human being
Not entirely on topic but I've never been sure why Yea Forums acts like every single normal person is driven solely by reason, with a realistic view on life.
There's a shitton of people who get themselves into troubles by being too emotion-driven for all their life, even after puberty ended. You have people who were smart enough to make it into positions that put them above most of society only to throw it all away because they really felt like fucking their secretary that one time.

No he doesn't. He thinks he's more important than he actually is, rather than a nobody who inserts himself into situations.

Its not about that. Its about how Subaru finally putting into words what he was actually thinking. And it was the opposite of how he thought he was and how he portrayed himself to be (hero that helps purely out of love and kindness). The scene escalates when Subaru tries to be honest with Emilia and ends with both Emilia and Subaru learning how pathetic Subaru is. Everything he says is awful but it also makes sense, its the same things the viewers were also thinking. Its so intentionally cringy in a serious manner that's what makes it so good.

he only remembers
