What I the only one who enjoyed it?

So fafner is now a sunrise mecha.

I completely forgot there was a sequel planned to be honest, so i forgot to watch it.

I watched the first 3(?) episodes raw when they came out, was disappointed by the horrible CG in that asteroid field scene and put off watching it until it's complete

Yep, probably has to do with the new movies becoming a full on series too.
Nothing like sunrise's totally not gay mecha series, really.

Didn't like the asspull end, pretty well directed though

Dropped it after few episodes.
Felt it was too retarded.

I meant the second season.
First season is amazing.

I thought the first season was good. Never watched the second season though.

I was put off by the reveal towards the end of the first season where we found out that the humans attacked the aliens first. Given the setting, it's an incredible stupid plot point which made no sense, undermined the central conflict and made me uninterested in further developments.
