I'm genuinely interested in what you think makes this schlock a masterpiece.

Hyouka was their best current era show, while Hibike and Maid Dragon are their recent standout shows. Most of their recent stuff has sadly been mediocre at best.

How come it seems that a lot of people (many, but no means all or even most) that praise VEG appear to be normalfags? I don't know how or why, but I have the impression that much of the people who liked VEG (again not all, but perhaps a vocal part of them) gave the impression that either they were new to anime, or hadn't seen a lot of series.
