I have roughly 150 books

Love books but love money more so I don't buy until I'm willing to read.

459 currently. I keep a list in case my house burns down or so.

physical: around 100, read 90%;
virtual: around 1000, read 15%

I hate R*ddit fags.
Anyway probably 150 or so, I read probably 2/3 of them so I know that feel. I'll read all of them.

My parent own about 2000 books, most of them pretty good. The ones i've bought myself must number in the 20-30 range.

I own probably close to 600. I've read about 300 of those.

Around 40-50. Read like 40% of them. Haven't purchased any books in a while, though.

it's enormous but still not as big as ur mums ass

edit: thanks for the gold kind stranger

One million

Edit: Thanks for the gold kind user!

Incredibly based

There's nothing wrong with building a library, even if you're not going to read every single book you own, it's still a very valuable asset to own.
A large library allows you to look up most things instantly, assumoig the books you own aren't trash.

Physical: Around 100 books, I haven't read 5 of those yet
Virtual: Around 1000, and I haven't read most

Roughly 5000 physical books. I haven't counted them in a while.

Agreed. Much of the books I buy are to be used as resources for argumentation or to be loaned out to friends or required reading for my children. That said, I don't buy garbage books, especially not just so I can say I have it. The difference is that the Reddit bugman is so fucking fascinated with the aesthetic and the novelty. He has an irresistible addiction to stimulating his visual senses so much so that he buys books not for the sake of becoming greater in some capacity but because he wants a pretty picture to look at. Truly an abominable and undignified existence.

I borrow books from the library so i only own a couple dozen

My collection is in the library ;)

chill

Based and library pilled. What kind of retard actually buys a book?

I'm the exact opposite of this for the most part, I read most of my books from the library and then plan to buy a copy if I think I'll reread it some day, but I need to clear some shelves of stuff that isn't mine to make room for those as well as for books which aren't at the library.
This means that instead of having tons of books I've bought but not got around to reading, I have tons of books I've read and not got around to buying.
