Yea Forums‘s favorite characters

Who are your favorite literary characters, Yea Forums?
For various reasons, I love Pierre Bezukhov and Konstantine Levin.
I guess I just relate to them on a deep level.
Also on a side note (besides the obvious Don Quixote) who are the best characters that fit the bumbling, loveable idiot archetype?
Should Yea Forums make a Top 100 or Top 50 literary characters list?

Brotteaux from Les dieux ont soif. I wish an entire novel had been written about him.

I liked Boris from The Goldfinch. I would totally let him snuggle with me and kiss and rub sticks with if I were straight.

Pierre is great but I always saw myself more in Andrei. I think part of it is he's basically a depressed zoomer longing for death and glory, who over the course of the novel relearns love and an enthusiasm for life

*takes a drag*

Stavrogin, Chinaski, Caulfield, Ahab, Molloy, Mersault, Celine's Ferdinand

There are so many amazing characters of all kinds that someone should definitely make top 50 or even top 100

King Sosa

How are the community lists usually done? Was it through some straw poll or something? I think this could be really fun

>My favorite character is Stavrogin!
