Basically I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, but instead of becoming a blob at the end he becomes a big-breasted woman.

It's a NYC white collar guy talking to a therapist (maybe in the 70s or early 80s) about [the MC] having recurring dreams and flashbacks about being a German WWI trench soldier. It only takes place within that room, the story only progresses within that room. MC gets into great detail and often monologues about the experience he saw, which reveals itself in a rather linear fashion, but not entirely so. MC then ends up going to Paris and describes [in another therapy session] how he saw an old man, that he knew the old guy from the past life. He had the impulse to stand and roman salute him, but didn't know why he did so. The old man looked shocked, stared for 5 seconds, then continued walking. The therapist ultimately recommends the man never talk about any of the flashbacks, but to come back if it truly distresses him, then makes an off-handed comment that he should write a book about it to remove the anxiety. "It just seems like you want someone to know about these visions. You don't have any real problems if you don't believe in the ideology. Maybe you are just creative and are meant to write, it's a healthy outlet."

This is really cool concept. I have rarely read something on one of these threads I actually thought I would like to read but this is neat. The only critique I would have is if that last part wasn't a "gotcha" moment, maybe the idea of writing gets brought up in passing and some point and the narrator (or MC if it's 1st person) makes some sort of subtle insinuation toward the end. Like the story itself, without that idea, is fleshed out and works as a standalone and as a reader, it might not hit home until a few minutes after reading and it puts things into a whole new context. The foundation is interesting user, I hope you work on this and write it!

Scientific research diver sabotages tourist and fishing operations out of insane ecological ideology

I don't think I meant for it to be a "gotcha", and the delivery of that concluding concept is supposed to be a lot more subtle than I made it, but thanks for the feedback. I love writing slice of life, but a kind where it's "leaving out" 85%+ of the actual story so it has even less meaning and purpose than a normal slice of life, but pushes the narrative along much faster than normal. I just didn't think there was an appeal to this kind of thing.

A well-educated office worker builds up resentment for the modern world. Decides he's gonna leave it all and go out into the woods and be one with nature and become "pure" again. Plans it meticulously and sets off. Gets started, begins to feel like me made the right choice. After a while he realises he isn't strong enough to lead this kind of life, and starts to resentment himself for not being as principled as he once thought. Returns home broken

like into the wild except he survives?

It struck the same nerve with me.

Two people fall from heaven and enter a conflict with each other when they disagree about what heaven looks like, realize they've forgotten, and aren't sure how to get back

A lonely young librarian stuck in a small podunk town catches a middle schooler watching porn on the library computers. She spares him humiliation and over the coming weeks the boy develops a crush on her. She finds herself flattered by the attention--despite knowing that its wholly inappropriate. Finally she invites the boy (or he invites her) to go kayaking with her to a lake she used to frequent with her ex. In the climax, the boy gets carried away, and kisses her. I'm not sure what her response would be (whether she kisses back or not) but regardless, in the end, the kid stops coming to the library.

what's the ending mean? the part about the therapist encouraging mc to start writing?

I think it's supposed to be self-referential.

A Pige steals everyone's short story ideas and turns them into an analects that he becomes a millionaire off of and then he spirals into a state of total cyrenaic dissipation.

so like, the reader themselves is the one writing it as if they were the ones writing down their flashbacks? or mc started writing down his flashbacks and the book itself is what he is writing, after the recommendation of the therapist.

Probably the latter.

(Me)
The therapist himself recorded the sessions and the story is essentially (You) watching/listening to those tapes, but this isn't ever explicitly made known.

A group of men start a discussion group meeting weekly at a cafe. They drink and read from their diaries, essays, poetry. They become more and more self-absorbed. The narration takes the form of the meeting minutes and excerpts from the discussions. they became so invested in themselves that they do not notice the world ending around them. They all die. maybe there is a narrator who pieces everything together rummaging through the debris of a destroyed city.

Never heard of that, but a bit bummed out that it's already been done

I was writing a short story then I realized it was basically Brave New World.

So basically Carrie?

This reminds me of the Brave New World short story I mentioned in my other post. But my MC was going to die in an African desert.

My favorite type of storytelling desu. Demian and steppenwolf are among my favorite books.

This would be entertaining. Like that movie this is the end or whatever with the Jews. I would watch it, I don't read comedy desu

A man isolates human pheremones and fucks around with them, controlling people around him in sexual and non sexual ways.

There's really no such thing as it has already been done. Each book has its own breath of life. Unless it has a gotcha ending or twist those can't be redone the same.

Same, but sayi

Am I the only one who wants to stick my dick in that things nose? Would be like young virgin pussy,

Fuck off Jacques

A guy becomes able to see and interact with ghosts, he gets to fuck cute ghostesses with his metaphysical cock, he meets a girl but doesn't knows that she's able to see ghosts and gets horny when she sees him getting paranormal blowjobs and sex

Here are two I have finished very rough drafts of
1) a man wanders endlessly through several different (empty field to a small forrest to the deep woods) until he comes to one certain spot. My idea is that he is a dead soldier that continues to wander confused to the place he died)
2) a rock on a beach gains sentience and observed what happens to it over several lifetimes and how it feels in regards to becoming alive

And then I have several I’ve started on
1) the context (in my actual life) to help understand is that I’m from a very affluent beach town in south Florida. One cool fact is that there is a massive variety of totally awesome cars that I constantly see throughout town.
This story is set in the close future in a world that has lost the ability to use electronics due to war or something. So it’s about a citizen of a city that wants to report on the insane car culture that thrives there. Think of a bunch of real life auto autists (the people that frequent /o/) in their dream build racing and getting into trouble.
2) a young man kills him self In the far future. So far that everyone has a brain implant that acts as a computer in their head. The father can watch his sons life and sees why he chose to kill himself
3) two people from the same town have walked along the same beach unbeknownst to the other at many different times throughout their life. They don’t end up actually connecting until they are much older but the story goes through their respective lives and the times they came close to connecting over the years

4) a robot hides out in a small rural community as a human with his robot dog. The story is from the dogs POV. Robots and humans hated each other and the story is two parts. The first half the dog lives with his owner until the robot is killed mid way. Then the dog runs until it is taken in by a human boy which turns out to be the son of a human that particularly hates robots. So the dog and boy live out until the story ends when the dog dies and the boy finds out it was a robot
I probably have some others but I also have three novel ideas I’ve started on and are of various length.

Idk why I’m posting all this. I think of it as pretty faggy but I guess I’m just doing it to remind myself of my short comings

A demon that was brought to earth in a ritual before Christ walked the earth, is captured and tortured severely by man living for revenge after it kills his family. After almost two decades the demon manages to kill the man and escape out into the night. It is 1963 and the demon wearing human skin, calling itself Lilith but it's not it's real name, finds help in a woman that picks her up from the road. The woman had killed her mother hours ago and is in such a good mood that she picks up a hitchhiker for the first time in her life and not only that, invites her to spend the night at her house. Lilith is deciding what to do with the single mother before meeting the woman's sleeping son as the mother carries him to bed. Lilith could smell a madness darker then rage coming from the boy and it is exactly what she has been looking for since her birth on earth. It must find a way to stay, it needed to stay, so as the night progresses Lilith seduces the woman and so starts a twisted relationship with her as she begins to enter her family and corrupt it from the inside out. It's a horror story about undying love, family, stark brutality, God and Hell. It's about what happens when you choose to live happily while the consequences of that choice slowly suffocate you. I've already finished this and it is one of my best works.

>1) a man wanders endlessly through several different (empty field to a small forrest to the deep woods) until he comes to one certain spot. My idea is that he is a dead soldier that continues to wander confused to the place he died)
Sounds too cliche.
>2) a rock on a beach gains sentience and observed what happens to it over several lifetimes and how it feels in regards to becoming alive
Could be interesting depending on how the idea is delivered.
I also live in South Florida. My discord is avena#5596 if you want to talk.
