Beterson made some good points. Everything after that was him harvesting the seeds he sew. The guy played his hand more intelligently than most people could ever dream of doing. Philosophically, he possesses understanding. In terms of originality of substance, his organization of ideas is about his only strong point. His application is exactly reminiscent of the people he’s extracted them from. He’s good at stringing words together and people like to listen. His book sold well and as a result he had the means to do projects that increased his fame. His debate with Zizek showed the world that neither men are truly pioneering anything relating to philosophy. They’re merely standing on the shoulders of the greats and whistling at eachother. Peterson makes strong points, and he makes them well and effectively. If you’re unable to get off your ass and immediately implement them, he doesn’t give a shit about you and actively criticizes or feels downright sorry for you.
He is a fraud if you think he’s trying to be a great spiritual leader. He’s a fraud if you think he’s trying to re invent psychologicy or philosophically. He is an excellent motivational speaker, and an above average author. Clean your room and proceed towards your goals.
