The atheism was always core and I've never really been outside it, because I am smart, it's the politics which have varied a bit, per the usual youth-adulthood trajectory. I read large amounts of the fashionable left-wing Yea Forums fare, the better to reject it from a position of knowledge, and to pass the time.

Also... You should have come to the insight by now that humans create their own worlds by social acknowledgement of certain narratives. while the spirits of nature and such form certain boundaries which prevent the narratives from being to arbitrary there is much much leeway for humanys to form their models of the world to their practical advantage.
It boils down to what humans as such strive for as individuals and as a collective. I would suggest reading william james to gather his ideas about pragmatism. And then read Rudolf Steiner and the surrounding contenporarys. This is better done in the mative tongue german bitte.
Let your soul and spirit be guided by these questions:
What is the human?
Where does he come from?
And where will he go?
Imo we have to establish a kind of Geisteswissenschaft that is not materialistic. But at the same time we need ontology and theory of science that prevents us from loosing a pragmatic overaight. Kind of like the next stage of scientific meta cognitive reflexion.
