Unfortunately, most works that frankly discussed transexual psychology, especially from psychoanalytic or phenomenological perspectives, have been suppressed by the vocal GLBTQ academy just as prior didcussions of homosexuality as a narcissistic phenomena have been wiped.
Denkwürdigkeiten eines Nervenkranken, the memoir of Judge Schreber (and Freud's discussion of the case) can tell you a lot about the psychotic or borderline organization underlying a lot of trans pathology.
