I Could Live In Hope
First time hearing – enjoyed immensely. Anymore recs?
this shit is too overrated
no why do Yea Forumsfags keep pushing this?
*blocks your path*
First song is alright, rest is shit. Prove me wrong.
Protip: you can not
If you've enjoyed Richard you might fancy Comus as well. I can't think of anything at the top of my head but I will rec you some when I get home from work.
Be sure to check out all of Richards releases. While I think The Vile Stuff is his magnum opus and Peasant his most thematically interesting release, Magic Bridge is still my favourite record of his. New one coming out soon!
Check ya later fren
First song is the 4th best of the album though
Andy Shauf The Party
>Before the Red Sea flood beneath a cornhusk dawn
>We bid the Elkhorn run to a locomotive psalm
>Until the pale horse comes along a rail withdrawn
>Clanging loudward on, clanging loudward on
>We bid the Elkhorn run until the red cow comes
>I was a steadfast son, with thoughts and hooves divided
>And on the arid ground of thirsty Zion’s hill
>Cold waters tumbled down where the staff of Moses fell
rubies tho
>Every thousand years
>This metal sphere
>Ten times the size of Jupiter
>Floats just a few yards past the earth
>You climb on your roof
>And take a swipe at it
>With a single feather
>Hit it once every thousand years
>'Til you've worn it down
>To the size of a pea
>Yeah, I'd say that's a long time
>But it's only half a blink
>In the place you're gonna be

The Vile Stuff was certainly my favourite from what I heard. I have listened to Comus previously, also – I think I was once fairly close to buying something of theirs on vinyl for the artwork.
Looking forward to your other recs. From me – have you heard Arab Strap? Similar imbuing of the day-to-day with grandiosity. Phil Elverum does much of the same, no doubt you've heard plenty of him.
Unironically a top 10 musician of the 21st century
Best album of the 90’s
Die Yea Forums
Radiohead - AMSP
Because it's a masterpiece and one of the best albums of the century so far
fuck you all
anything by the smiths
Reminder that you have literally no right to have any input regarding music if you are not competant in the playing of at least one instrument
Peak album.
I'm competant in the playing of your mom's cunt if that counts.
Damn, I wanted to post Starsailor.
Of course i've heard of Phill.
Also enjoying Arab Strap. Thank you for the rec. I'll dig a little deeper into them when I get the time. The bass work reminds me of Pinback.
Try John Frisciante-Shadows Collide With People. It's a little different than what I expect you would enjoy but still a good record.
this and are the only correct answers to the question
this board is for fucking faggots, man. almost as bad as Yea Forums itself
Absolutely this shit right here
kek most entry level shit imaginable you fucking newfag
she doesnt have intelligible lyrics but Grouper has some really cozy albums to read to
obscurity isn't the point, foolish boy
post an album
this is the fucking album by far, give it a spin and never post about music again until you are unironically past 25 years of age
also I’ll even throw you this because you clearly have a lot of ground to cover. you do not deserve these works at all desu
>this is the fucking album by far
I really need that extra adjective between fucking and album, senpai. i defer to you.
Is it the best album in the thread or the most fitting for Yea Forums ??
Most fitting for Yea Forums
