you weren't supposed to just read the greeks. you have to analyse them and go deeper into their ideas, expand them etc. come back after you do that. in about 5 years you'll most likely be ready to begin your introduction to christian philosophy.

Honestly you are wasting your fucking time, read some PopSci books like Hawkings or watch Cosmos, it doesn't matter how rreddit it sounds, you need to understand the thing we perceive and call "reality" first. After you get that, you will see that philosophy has "expired" as a tool to understand this "reality" thing, and you will read any philosophy book you want. What you are doing is like studying history on the subject, trying to understand and comprehend erroneous thoughts (nothing wrong with that, just as any product of his own time), and everything they got right, has already been implemented in our collective consciousness since a long time
