>An Introduction to the Philosophy of Law
Clearly you haven't gotten past the "let me keep every single book I've studied so that I can show off my knowledge phase"
You should delete this comment and go where you belong
nice taste op, malazan empire is such a good series
>Pinker
>Not one but two copies of Thinking Fast and Slow
>All of those B&N hardcovers
Let me reiterate
>INTRODUCTION to the Philosophy of Law
KYS
Have that exact set of Narnia books, they’re dope
Kill yourself mate

I already had a copy of TFaS and then my friend gave me another as a gift lol
>banksy

Posted this a few days ago, I’ll help out.
cringe wine rack user
The only cringe is I need more... too lazy to replace these days.
how do i into wine?
Get a corkscrew.
...I learned to drink with old Italian campagnoli... they cut their table wine with sparking water. Over time, I used less water and learned to enjoy the taste. It helps living in Italy.
If burger, go to a Whole Foods or whatever and ask for a recommendation. They’ll give a couple cheap reds and whites to see what you like. Read too.
Nice
Is that Zettel's Traum?
Do you re-read books or are you a one-and-done kinda user?
Still on the Rigveda, I need to speed up.
only if you go back first
its actually beautiful , but that wine stand is such a fail
Im cringing user get rid of it , or upgrade it somehow
I like your rug faggot
Mother fucking OG what’s happening
Are you 15 years old?
No one cares what you think you fucking loser
Can you fuck off?
Sure, I reread my favorites — particularly Herodotus, Montaigne, Mann, and some philosophers.
Thanks it’s handmade spun with silk — bought it in Istanbul.
> Hayek
>Friedman
> no Keynes
Why brother?
Why do most people in this thread have such clean, unread-looking books? Do you all not buy second-hand books? If you go to garage sales, secondhand/opshops (dunno what Americans call them, thriftshops?), book fairs, etc. you can find rundown copies of all the books I see in these topics at 1/10th the price, and all sorts of odd, interesting, or out-of-publication titles. Everything I see is so suspiciously spic and span and well-known.
Here's mine
>Taking up space in your own home with a bunch of paper
>creating a fire hazard
>Contributing to the wastage of resources
>Spending money when you could get the same content for free
Personally, it's harder for me to get e-books. I dislike online shopping in general and don't remember when was the last time I ordered something. I also read slower digitally, idk why.
I don't like buying books second hand because I assume other dudes jack off when reading books like I do and I don't want to turn the same pages that some guy with cum-soaked hands has touched.
Good thinking, I tend to rub the books I'm giving away against my unwashed crotch and take great satisfaction from the thought that someone will end up with my dick germs on their hands.
Holy shit, what version of Crime and Punishment is that? It looks amazing
I would guess that it's the B&N one.
because keynes was a faggot
That's why I only buy books second hand and ebooks are for cucks
It’s so rare to see Austen on lit. I applaud you, sir.
So obvious that you haven't read most of these
My shelf is a slow work in progress
>no u
this fucking board has only gotten worse
stop bothering with this guy. He's clearly mentally deranged and attacks people solely for the pleasure it gives him which proves enough the wickedness of his underdeveloped character.
Nice taste, do you buy most of your books used?
Thumbs up for Courant's magnificent "What is Mathematics?"
I've been reducing my collection. I've narrowed it down to my favorite 66 books.
>Leaving stickers on your books
Lol I've read parts of General Theory, just didn't think to get a copy. Im not a lolbertarian I promise
Beautiful. I'd buy one myself but I'm a poorfag
The other user is correct, its the B&N copy
Depends; i only buy used now, but many of the books I've that I've had for awhile were bought new because I was young and didn't know what i was looking for (hence the B&N hardcovers)
Found the mormon
>too poor to buy a bible
How's that Intro to Graph Theory book? I've been thinking about getting it for awhile now
don't they give those away for free everywhere?
>they don't recognize a Cambridge Turquoise when they see one

Every single time
I've read half of them,
but not Emma
Cool, nice bookshelf btw.
>Steven Pinker
Not a Mormon but Book of Mormon and Pearl of Great Price are interesting reads. But Doctrines and Covenants can suck my dick.
Let me guess. You'd describe yourself as "spiritual, but not religious", right?
he has four bibles, he's an entirely different meme
Those old Signet Shakespeares are my favourite editions of his plays, hope you like reading the intros too.
Real Mormons would also have Battlefield Earth on the shelf. (It's a rule. Don't ask me why)
Excellent! A friend recommended it to me and it's been a great help towards advancing my understanding of bioinformatics
i think the books that are behind the plant on the floor would look better on the shelf. you should put your wine on the floor there instead
does anyone have a picture of their shelf that literally wasn't taken by a potato?
Posted this on the other thread but it’s probably a better fit here anyway:
I know I really need to branch out from fiction, but I’m pretty happy with my bookshelf. This isn’t everything, but it’s the main shelf. Probably 1/2 or 3/4 of these I got dirt cheap from Value Village, which I’m pretty pleased about too
Definitely one of the better bookshelves I’ve ever seen on here. What’s the giant Everyman’s Library book in the upper right?
ah nice taste, user. how long did it take to collect all of these?
I wouldn't trust a single English translation of any Veda.
This is a good one user
>the reddit karamazov
kys
I appreciate the complement. It’s a well-worn copy of Montaigne’s Essays.
Real Mormons would have every record by Low on vinyl (it's a rule, don't ask me why).
Only reviewbrah could get a sticker off a book with those fingernails of his, especially those fuckers from Goodwill.
Fuck off, stop posting this.
Are these bookshelves all books you own?
I have about 15 bookshelves worth of books and those are only the books ive read last 3 years
