Islam was designed to preserve & promote the following 5 broad things for human beings: 1. Preservation of Religion (e.g. preventing the mockery of religion or insult of prophets.) 2. Preservation of life (e.g. punishments for crimes that are a real deterrent, & thus preventive) 3. Preservation of lineage (e.g. traditional family values, prevention of promiscuity) 4. Protection of property & wealth (e.g. no usurious (interest) dealings which destroy the wealth of the less well off) 5. Preservation of intellect (e.g. no intoxicants) When a civilisation does the opposite of these 5: 1. Debase religion (through mocking God, His Prophets & preventing religiosity, promoting the worship of desires) 2. Debase the value of life: (by allowing murder to take place with impunity, allowing the killing of fully formed babies etc.) 3. Debase lineage (e.g. through a promiscuous/gender confused society where people don't know who their parents are.) 4. Debase true wealthiness for society (e.g. allowing the rich to exploit the poor through usury/interest/debt) 5. Debase the intellect (through the proliferation of intoxicants and addictions)....how can such a civilisation thrive? It is committing suicide.But they needn't fear. Islam is a beautiful complete way of life. More Islam/Muslims in the West will make it more beautiful, give people meaning, give people a moral framework that will help any people thrive. So fear not dark-webbers, God promises He will perfect His light. They speak of Judeo-Christian values--not realising that Islam is the completion of the original religion that was sent with Abraham, Moses & Jesus. Everything human beings need from the Bible - stories, morals - are in the Qur'an & more, because it came from the same God. the purpose of life, laws, lofty morals, beauty - that's what you'll find in it if you read it with an open & truthful heart. Who could have designed such a complete system of life- spiritual, economic, moral, political, universal...who but God?
Old religion will continue in the West but its dogmatic authority on our psyche has withered away. In the absence we will create a wave of spiritual contradictions, reconstruct paganism with the new age, and personalize our own religious needs to be compatible with individualism.

They have polygamy dude, there is an underclass of men absolutely fucked by hypergamy in Muslim societies, because multiple women will marry a rich man. I read an essay once that suggested that this is partly why Muslims expand so much, that class of men just fucks off in search of other women in different places. The reason for there being a glut of men with no prospects is because of the Middle East's role as a US colony for oil extraction. In essence, the entire economy is outsourced to the US for food, China for everything else, in return for cheap goods flowing in to keep the populace placated. Because there's literally nothing for these men to do, they do... nothing. Well, no, they try very hard to get better sources of handouts, but otherwise they do nothing. It has nothing to do with polygamy.

Yes that is why Greece and Rome outlawed it, but Islam regulates it heavily so it's prohibitive for most men and most women don't want to have a part time husband and so reject such proposals, but like I said widows and divorcees sometimes do as it is their only option
