The Count of Monte Cristo

Australians are just politically apathetic.

Cambodia is a really surprising one.

How can i get the luck of the count?

You must suffer first

We just have higher standards

Doesn't seem like it. America is a country where voicing a particular political opinion could ruin your career and life.

Every place is like that. In the Islamic world you'll be ostracised for being non-muslim, in Russia for being anti-state, in Europe for questioning the Holocaust and generally being racist, in America for the same shit as Europe

Well yeah, but that's the rub. It feels like a ripoff when the country says "land of the free" and then clarifies "Eh, well, land of the just AS free". Feels like false advertising.

>W-we're free compared to Muslims!
The absolute state of Americans.

Freedom is the responsibility of choice in our options

Well when they say land of the free they mean freedom from the state, especially the monarchical tyrannies that America rose up against. Doesn't mean that you won't get punched in the face for saying you want to fuck kids.

So basically you're no longer free. The people who faught against the English crown were free.

You'd be ostracized if you voice right-wing opinions, though. Liberals are the establishment in America.

>faught

Yeah but if that's what that means, then it's not special. Plenty of countries have that kind of freedom. Nothing to brag about.
