>Waited until I was 23 before I met a woman I knew I wanted to be with for sure, a woman I knew would be a good match >5 years later and we're still together and happy >If she ever cheats on me or tries to leave me I'll kill her and then myself
I've never fallen in love except for a teacher when I was 8-9 yo. She left the school for a better job, and later that day my mother found me crying under the bed; I wanted no one to see me tearing up for her, because I didn't know what was going on. Ever that just sounds like a dumb kid was finding out what was attachment and inevitable loss. Anyway, I don't complain, it's great to simply leap from one lust train to the other in regards to people I get as partners.

>it's great to simply leap from one lust train to the other in regards to people I get as partners Disgusting degenerate.
A day will come when you're past your prime and you'll wish you gave it a serious go with someone.
Connor Foster
>Degenerate Blow it out your ass. Who waits for the 'right one' or tries to turn every passing partner into a life changing choice? A kid does. Im not betting on staying secluded from love or real interest, but why shouldn't I enjoy my prime sharing myself with those I like? And when the time comes, I'll pick one Ive learned to love. Some people can choose, others have to take what they get.
>Who waits for the 'right one' Someone who isn't a disgusting piece of garbage
Kayden King
me. i let people take pictures of my behind staring into great nature. lol. the more likes the more romanticer
Asher Sanders
Sounds quite childish. You will feel different at 38 when you've experienced the world. Every moment on Yea Forums is arresting your development and making you more of an infant
James Gonzalez
>Waited until I was 23 before I met a woman Yeah sure, you "waited"
Luis Jackson
Why is it that whenever I make a thread unrelated to literature, I get banned, but when other people do it it's OK?
Lincoln Watson
>A day will come when you're past your prime and you'll wish you gave it a serious go with someone.
Not necessarily. And that is the great flaw in naturalistic moral philosophy: that someone will do what they will, with total indifference to the consequences.
Zachary Johnson
Just saw a porno were a girl was doing a cosplay of her as an adult.

I don't know if I am. I try to broaden my perspective on sex and on communication in general and I try not to bind my psychological stability to my relationship.
So I guess, psychological stability, sexuality, communication, with little focus on the qualities of my partner. So I could theoretically end up with any person.
Angel Wood
lmao at volcels. i've fucked over 50 people and have zero regrets. i screwed around just for the sake of it, i've done every sex act imaginable. this is the true Yea Forumserary path.
you can't write books without experiences to draw from. the more you experience and the more out of the ordinary your experiences are, the better a writer you have the potential to become. compared to some nuboomer who declined to live and shut himself away because he wanted to be a good boy like his mommy and his church told him to.
Luke Anderson
incel larp
Connor Lee
You'll never have the experience of being chaste or of controlling your desires. A volcel's experiences are most out of the ordinary nowadays (compared to you or an incel).
Oliver Long
>of being chaste first 15 years of my life i waste chaste, dumbass.
Asher Watson
>i have sex in the most sexually free society of history Truly out of the ordinary. What a Yea Forums life, user.
Levi Rivera
Not managing to get sex is not the same as being chaste. Being chaste is rejecting not only sex but the thought about sex as well. It gets at the root of the desire and kills it.
Luis Martin
A sex maniac can later choose to become volcel.
A volcel can never choose to become a sex maniac.
“Lord, make me chaste – but not yet!”
Colton Perez
>A volcel can never choose to become a sex maniac Yes he can, the vol stands for voluntary.
I'd say you have it backwards. If you are addicted to sex you will have that scar for life, just like a recovered alcoholic.
Aiden Wood
>It gets at the root of the desire and kills it. The whole madness of the Stoic-Christian-Mélange in one sentence.

Does anyone else really enjoy love stories? I find I can't really enjoy a novel unless it has a romantic element
Jordan Kelly
Only pure ones.

>Nobody wins arguments on social media. You win by controlling narratives. You promote the narratives that serve you and you block or sabotage the narratives that threaten you.
>Sabotaging important conversations about specific issues by making vague, inaccurate, emotionally-charged pronouncements is an effective way to sabotage a narrative. Instead of discussing facts, now you're discussing accusations.
Jackson Morris
Not all romantic stories, but I really enjoyed Conrad's Victory.

Probably the most cringy and unstable thing a man could say. If you think like this you should not be around women.

That was the norm for thousands of years, "till death do us part" is not just a saying. People used to stick to their word.

>tfw Romantic in the classical sense >lose interest in any story that isn’t either sublime or sentimental >genuinely love the world for all it’s natural beauty and for humanity’s ability to create fine art >experiencing a love and living a simple family life in the country is my highest goal
Are there any other fellow romantics here? I feel as though people like me and the kind of art I like is frowned upon in this day and age by cynics and people who think everything has to be ironic.
I’m a sucker for a great love story, but honestly most stories either just relegate it to a minor subplot or only focus on the perspective of one character in the relationship, which makes it difficult for me to get invested. A good romance can make me sob like a bitch though, especially if it’s either tragically beautiful or uplifting.
Ethan Gonzalez
Nah, it shows you are unstable and creepy and can't handle getting 'cheated on'. If you kill someone you 'love' because you got 'cheated on' then you didn't 'love' them in the first place. You saw them as property you acquired. You would have every right to be angry and upset but to take it to that extra level would be immoral.

>had opportunities with 2, with a possible 3, girls who turned out to be undeniable social justice freaks later on >download Tinder 3 days ago >get 3 matches which is three more than I expect >everybody in my area is a basic bitch with the exception of one girl who put she likes Zizek in her profile but even she looked like a typical thot >all 3 of my matches look like hoodrats >hate the idea of casual sex because of the emptiness that will follow orgasm
Though never diagnosed I'm most probably on the spectrum and I want is a girl who I'm compatible with. I guess I just need to be lucky.
Joseph Lewis
Personally, I wouldn't consider myself an incel. Being an incel implies that you're bitter about lack of sex, but to me sex is utterly meaningless unless it's with someone I dearly love. Needless to say, while I've met some nice girls, I've not met one I'd want to give all my heart to yet.
That simple family life where me and my partner both pull our weight to support the household sounds beautiful. Ever since I first read Tolstoy I've been absolutely sold on the idea.

Which Tolstoy
Blake Clark
W&P, Family Happiness and Ivan Ilych as a cautionary tale.
As dull as Tolstoy's prose can be sometimes, the core themes of his works are truly beautiful and life affirming.
On the topic of literature though, what are some great romantic and sentimental books?

I haven't read those. I prefer romance with less tragedy
Nolan Fisher
I like the tragic romances because they create more interesting relationships between the characters. That said, I like the whole "some kind of rift tears the lovers apart against their will, but then overcome hardship to reunite and get their happy ending" trope. Some of my favourite love stories do that.
