I never have seen anyone actually recommend a book from the bible here and people who post "THE BIBLE" as A BOOK answer are the same people who post in these "based and traditional" catholic circlejerk threads.

I agree, you should at least be able to point at specific stories or books of the Bible when you recommend it. The Letters of Paul and the Book of Genesis answer vastly different questions for example.

I feel like the Bible is mostly meant to be used as a reference on how to live that you can consult when you have different questions. But that's only my opinion I guess.
