Are there any literature on why women are so obssessed with petty social games and social status? Seriously, i've been interacting with women around my age (20-24) and i've never seen a group of people so much obssessed with boring, mediocre "hobbies" that serves only as a way for them to signal their social status. All the normie males i know have interesting hobbies, from an objectively point of view. You may not think that going to the gym or playing a sport is much interesting, but you have to understand that both of these require some kind of will, and individuality to do them. Sports are a whole team effort that merges the balance between individuality and group to achieve a common goal. Going to the gym, or learning how to fight requires self challenge every single day. Now, contrast that with women. The college female hobbie is complaining on twitter about men, other women, their period, tv shows, drumpf, racism, sexism and other asinine topics. Everything they do from the music they listen to the shows they watch to the food they eat to the clothes they wear is mediated by what other people think of them. This is obviously present in everyone, but it's particularly strong in the female psyche. It's so ingrained that they won't even talk to you if they think their social group will condemn them.

Women are different from men. Liberal modernity tries to suppress all differences between people and types of people (genders, cultures, etc.) so that every human being is an abstract economic unit with "interests," but everyone has fundamentally the same brew of interests, with only minor variations in them that account for individual character.
Women really ARE more interested in gossip, status, flirtation, competition amongst themselves to be the best flirty little coquette, etc. All of their instincts revolve around those things. This is why it's bad to have them mingling with men in places where you want to get serious work done: their whole social role is basically "How can I use this forum as a vehicle for creating a hierarchy of women with me at the top, with all the men orbiting around me and doting on me, except the best one, who is worthy to impregnate me?" Even when they have been trained from birth to believe in liberal shit, women are still basically driven by these instincts, just like even the most pathetic men still fundamentally have some sense that they should probably be successful and generally make themselves "better" than other men (whatever that might mean).
Colleges are the perfect examples of this. Strip away the external forms, and colleges are, basically, a bunch of men trying to get actual shit done and construct a natural hierarchy of merit and command, while a bunch of women mingle around and try to find husbands, while treating men and each other like life is a soap opera as entertainment to pass the time until they find their husbands. People usually only notice the external forms, so they think everyone's doing the same thing (being a student), but this is what's actually going on under the surface. Men are there to learn, actually learn so they can out-learn other men, and women are there to have fun, kill time, be short-sightedly hedonistic on other people's resources as much as possible, and wait for the right dick. Men are focused on studying, women are focused on each other and on distracting the men to use them as playthings and vehicles for mutual competition.

There is the so-called 'male variability hypothesis'. Women are more likely to cluster around an average regarding certain traits.
More likely to conform and have copy/paste personalities. More likely to be normies basically. The male tendancy to march to your own drum and be an individual is actually deeply attractive to women. You could see the women screeching about being 'strong and independent' as a kind of wrong-headed projection of their own desires onto what they think men want, or even just an attempt to ape what they see as ideal in men. Tends to backfire though. The female proclivity for groupthink runs deep.
