Should feminism/civil rights for women have never happened? I'm not sure that is a tenable position. It's ubiquitous that in the society's that raise the education/rights of women, it is a boon to the civilization. You could look at countries that still have archaic beliefs on women - do they seem "superior"? Who are you asking?

Also, the idea of being inferior or superior is subjective to the point of abstraction. Men and women shouldn't be diluted into formulas with variables that can be measured and contrasted. It's not as black and white as that, infinite shades of grey.

There is a fanatical feminism, but there's a fanatical chauvinism. The balance is in between there.

He's right though, womans nature was perfectly felicitous with the morality and culture of say 100 years ago.
