Wittgenstein and Nietzsche are notoriously difficult to read. Is it possible that you 'hated them' because you had difficulty understanding them? If you read them 'due to memes' then it kinda sounds like you just threw yourself into reading philosophers that you just didn't have the prerequisite knowledge required (and maybe also intelligence to some extent) to be able to comprehend them.
