If you want to read guénon you start with guénon, which would seem extremely logical and easy to follow for everyone in the world, except anglos apparently. A good introduction to the traditionalist movement would be the introductory work by the author who invented traditionalism, don't you think?

Sedgwick's book is peer-reviewed and considered the standard work on the Traditionalist movement as a whole, its intellectual debts and origins, its internal organization and development throughout the 20th century. Of course you should read primary sources, but there's no reason not to get a sense of the whole.
