Who is the antithesis of ted kaczynski? I've read his work and they're well written and make some good points but before I go the full primitivist route and start living like a hunter gatherer again I want to know what philosophers or writers go the opposite route and argue for things that are the opposite of what ted says. They don't have to be directly responding to ted but just so I can get a different point of view.
Ted kaczynski

Anyone else? I think I remembered one long haired fellow but I forgot his name.

if you don't mean ecology over philosophy, there's a lot of research into why big cities are good for the eviornment whereas trying to return to a primitive state would have adverse effects.
I've seen you in like three threads now. Who the fuck are you?
Hegel

Which work?
You don't need the antithesis of Ted, he isn't entirely wrong so you don't want that.
Read other deep ecology theorists.
Ted's reasoning for violent action and total disassembly of society is extremely weak. It serves as a retroactive justification for his violence more than it informed his violence. He hates technological society, his advocacy for total revolution is an ad hoc rationalization of his violence.
:)
