Normies will cry but this and 12oz Mouse both still to this day stand up to the test of time. Their deliberately shitty style is as on point as it was when it came out. It's like Zelda Windwaker. The fact they chose a style than try to go with what was popular at the time or best looking for the time means it will always look how it was always meant to. Add to that most of the jokes are spesifically surreal and bizarre and that was the point it still works. You don't have to like these shows or even think they're good. But they stand up to the test of time. You can be a glass half empty guy and say "yeah it always looked and was shit!" or you can see it how I do and how it always looked like shit but was always fun even to this day.

it's hilarious to this day. The show thrives in its bizarre and dysfunctional world. Most shows have a ''straight man'', but in XRA everyone is as eccentric as Xavier.
My favorite part of the show is when Xavier goes on long dumb rants that make no sense, in most shows I would hate that a joke drags for so long but Xavier executes it perfectly.

I like how the ninth episode explained esotericism for both the layest and lamest of the lay masses.
Xavier stands at a fork in the road with two signs; the path on the left is labeled "mind" and the path on the right is labeled "heart." This is a reference to the left (analytical) brain, and the right (experiential) brain. When he takes the path on the right, the little girl says,

This is a reference both to how the left hemisphere of your brain controls the right side of your body, and vice versa, but also how spiritual concepts are defined and communicated. In spirituality, the "left-hand path" refers to your experiential mind, while the "right-hand path" is your logical mind. The atheists and agnostics here with us are probably wondering how there's any logic in spirituality, so I'll put it like this: the left-hand path is ritualistic, while the right-hand path is dogmatic.
All of this is to say, this show was really good at pretending to be retarded.
