Does it hold up?
Does it hold up?
It's still more funny than the comedy shows of today.
I thought smiling friends was much better, but you can keep your old is good opinion, even if it's wrong and makes you look like a boomer faggot.
Season 2 is considerably weaker
Xavier is a genuinely subversive and weird show that defies genre. Most AS shows are just sitcoms where you can say "ass".
Normies will cry but this and 12oz Mouse both still to this day stand up to the test of time. Their deliberately shitty style is as on point as it was when it came out. It's like Zelda Windwaker. The fact they chose a style than try to go with what was popular at the time or best looking for the time means it will always look how it was always meant to. Add to that most of the jokes are spesifically surreal and bizarre and that was the point it still works. You don't have to like these shows or even think they're good. But they stand up to the test of time. You can be a glass half empty guy and say "yeah it always looked and was shit!" or you can see it how I do and how it always looked like shit but was always fun even to this day.
it's hilarious to this day. The show thrives in its bizarre and dysfunctional world. Most shows have a ''straight man'', but in XRA everyone is as eccentric as Xavier.
My favorite part of the show is when Xavier goes on long dumb rants that make no sense, in most shows I would hate that a joke drags for so long but Xavier executes it perfectly.

Smiling friends doesn't really appeal to anybody who wasn't already a fan of Oney's circle though
In not only hold up, but it holed true, and thus holed my heart, leaving a hole aching to be filled by a big brown shakashuri. A wholly good show like that will never come on TV again, and my heart will remain empty; no heart-on will come into my aching hole.
I have literally no idea who Oney is and I thought it was funny. Still nowhere near compared to xavier tho.
