It seems like it would be significantly more simple that an ethnic group that has consistently had problems with the white population would use their political/social/economic powers to suppress the political/social power of the white population than a simultaneous convergence of coincidental side effects of capitalism achieving these same ends. This seems even more ridiculous when one actually understands how monetary policy is controlled and how economic wealth is created (primarily via stable social systems with surplus). It would seem that capitalism in order to maintain a stable market place in which corporations are able to engage in selling goods with effective state protection of the market from hostile outside forces would actually need to maintain the primary population that supports and participates that market.

I don't care about the supposed benefits of communism it's just not how I want to live my life. Switching to a Marxist system whole sale would disrupt so many aspects of my life that I enjoy, such as the freedom to work however much and however little I want, and to be able to be objectively better than someone economically. I do not want to be brought down to the level of average even though I've worked to be above average, even if slightly.
I personally don't think communism would ever work in a modern context because those who debate about it do so from the comfort of the same ideology they're arguing against. You can implement a communist system in small tribes in a capitalistic land, but you cannot do the opposite. Communism is anti-freedom, and, again, I prefer to live my life free, taking full advantage of the liberties granted to me.

A lot of tankies (on lefty and leftpol anyway) write it off too. Their method for achieving communism is peculiar. I hope we can avoid war at least.

China is an enforced meritocracy. You gain political power by solving problems set by the govt better than your rivals. Capitalist baggage like intellectual property rights, political lobbies, and nepotism are done away with to stimulate aggressive competition. It's actually frightening how fast they are growing by removing these simple hindrances. The government plans to abdicate in 2050 but we will see if this actually happens.
