when is the end? I hate to relapse on this particular but when is the revolutionary or the big change coming? Every day every decade their seems to be some sense of impending doom; in the now. This clearly shows with alot
of the post-modernist thought just being kinds fucking dark? DFW wrote a book that was suppose to be sad or atleast no hilarious like people thought it was, the amount of drug use is just kinda sad. And Pynchon...like seriously this guys books are just drug crazed inspired hugely by the old beats but amplified in the drug factor 10x more and the prose beautified beyond odler margins. American Psycho, Fanged Noumena(all of land),Fisher, celebrity's of-the-time self-hating attitude,so much drug use(like i dont know the stats but the amount of people doing drugs or romanticizing or people are just getting desensitized has increased),consumerism or materialism in full swing, stimulation & stagnation of younger generations and so and so forth. Everything and everyone is impending current doom. But before you say that Late capitalism recurring though on impending doom is what im explaining, its not, if you look at the decades prior people thinking and theorizing on the end or fin are thinking about the future, why is that we no longer are thinking about the future? We don't idealized the future anymore its the now. All the accelerationist have backed up on their thoughts and really taken steps back, they have not predicted the future physically or in a really relative sense but ethically and morally they had it down. Everything has gone to shit, the hope and the doomsayers of the then have all been knocked off, dead and nolonger there, wanted or even made. Is it cause we are already dead? Emerged in the depths of the capitalist stage? Terrorism rather than knocking of the armor of capitalism only makes it even more reinforced because the neo-liberalist. Anyone else feel like this? Like why the fuck is everything so sad? But life is intrinsically beautiful is this what keeps us going? Any books on this?(Ive read alot of accelerationist stuff already) Hauntology-the thought of the relapse is itself relapsing, what do I mean by this? You know what i mean...

>Anyways ive been feeling like shit lately so maybe its just my biological entity escaping into my theoretical thought...or is it the cultural of today?

as long as they can scare people into believing that there is no future and that doom is right around the corner, people will have no optimism about creating and building new things and culture. therefore, the current established order has less competition.

only option is adopting supreme personal responsibility, doing what you can to contribute to the greatest possible good, the highest possible truth, to the best of your ability, every day.

who is they? and without definition who can we point the finger at? Also, what is the greatest possible good? What do you define as truth? I don't agree with antifa but nor do I believe they are not reaching for truth? Whats truth for a 40yr old office desk job 9-5 laborer compared to a 18 yearold fresh out of HS heading to college to a 10 yr old stimulated everyday on fortnite to a 24 yr old neet posting here? Is the truth to take into account all of this or to take into account ones on view of good? And doom is nolonger surmised to the future it is a subconcious cultural religion of the now, just because you take drugs whether it be opiods, benzos, stimulants etc etc(speaking in more chronic terms i.g excluding psychs and weed) does it mean you are in depths of social depression inequivalent to change? No then what does it mean to do drugs? I love this example as everything else. What does it mean to go to uni and study philosophy and study for truth when society can all but turn away from your truth? Do you see where im getting at? Seeking is truth is achievable but escaping the now is not its a endless dreary dizzy filled paradox. shit is right around the corner always present stinking

what the ffcuk

I always thought it was obvious, there isn't a revolution because """accelerationists""" are all internet-obsessed trannies that don't go outside and don't actually have any power over anything and yet they talk about "promoting the acceleration" as though they have any say in it whatsoever.

Leftists are nothing in comparison with what the west had 50-100 years ago.

Most people around you don't form an opinion, they are given one either by the internet or osmosis.

Ask what you could do about it instead of admitting defeat because no one is doing anything around you.

I made a commie book club for my lib friends to radicalize them. If you make learning radical thought an experience of building community, it becomes less of a daunting and gatekeepy experience.

Commies are currently the best at building up any sort of real movement, but still they are nothing in comparison to what once was(not to mention they aren't the same quality as the past).

I think that there is a large potential for all sorts of activity that has remained untapped from the internet, maybe I'm blinded but the level of connectivity today is so incredible that people should in theory be building the greatest voluntary organizations ever(and maybe they are, but with Wikis), but that isn't the case, not from what I see around me. I hope I'm just not getting into the right circles instead of it not happening, as I suspect.

im an ex-accelerationist. I mean i still identify with their thoughts more r then l but im distant to them. I can and can't see a future like that but i can see and can't see alot of future like that so what does it really mean? I just identify with the philosophy of change, whether it be change of culture or economy(maybe some PoMo or Post-structuralist thing).
>Ask what you could do about it instead of admitting defeat because no one is doing anything around you.
I mean...what can i do? This is such a mud filled conundrum, thinking on this is like dragging my feet through a swamp infested with aligators, lilly pads, water bugs, dense hard to breath air, and one thousand blood sucking bugs on the attack-i mean its hard. What can I do? Write a book? I mean...? I can't really seem to identify with any sub-topics of change it all kinda seems futile and every field is, with lack of a better term dead. Its hard to pin-point these sort of things and "what-to-do and why?" because this topic isent on the future the past or the present nor is it the combination of both like hauntology but its the dead but not the dead fresh bodies of the morgue but the decomposed body in the grave donated to science, organs missing and holes poked in it too the wazoo. I mean im not pessimistic life is too beautiful for that nor do i believe our culture is dead. Its just kinda like im talking about an imaginary reality thats real. Why do I feel like we are and are not a hologram fading in and out-amazing technology but holograms are not real? I mean are they?
gateway to what? not saying this isent good or it is good because it can be a bad thing to others. Gateway ideology its good yea maybe even great but what does it due to the dead, who cares about the dead? I mean who does I mean-idk know anymore dude

I think im just a cracked out PoMo cunt I mean it really feels like were talking about something fictionally but its exceptionally prevelent

i dunno man, in asian countries people all seem to be looking towards the future man. i just think somebody that isnt bitch made got take people by the reigns and itll be all good for another hundre or so years.

Are you schizophrenic?

>unironically communists

C'mon guys, the Cold War ended 30 years ago. The future belongs to the statist Right.

I can't wait to reeducate you fucking retards

you've lost. you're the losers bitterly clinging on to a defunct ideology. trying to harness the working classes towards revolutionary ends will only ever elevate the intellectual priesthood to managerial dominance. it's time to extract whatever was useful from Marx and learn from the past already.

I'm not a communist though, just pointing out that they are still effective enough to organize and propagandize, but they are nothing in comparison to what they used to be.

I'm sorry user, I don't know what to tell you. What I can say is that we can see that people our age are slaving away and watching Netflix, not very interesting when you compare it to the potential uses of their time, like joining a cult, or a commune, or becoming a sound cloud rapper with a face tattoo.

I have friends that have left for communes, but their life there is neutered, nothing like the crazy stuff I hear from testimonials of 60's hippies.

I would guess that if anything comes next, it will be another movement that will pull young people away from their shit life and offer them something with a higher dopamine supply, what this lifestyle or cause would be remains to be seen, however, if it will be either the far left or far right, as they exist today, that would be really sad.

Goddamn. Plutôt heureux d'avoir quitter ce continent finalement.

no, im not just rather not make a really long post bit by bit, just something to swallow whole-see here---> and use some imagination, I mean you could say im being paranoid of the future of more so the lack of one or the present-ignoring of a future. Either way what is there to be scared of and what is there not to be scared of:everything now.
I love your post....what does come next? if anything. If anyone has seen the kids or generation of the time(talking about u.s. culture cant speak for anything else but I do believe its present everywhere) its different? Its alien to everything in history, I dont believe this is the same type of thinking people of then thought aswell everything is really alien to everything. So comes the question, does history or will history really repeat?

There will be no revolution. The feeling of doom is an ever present part of the Now.

There is no escape from hell

I'm not really sure what you meant with this post, and I must go now.

While there is a good probability that some prophet will come out and save us from our bullshit(aren't there enough people frustrated that at least one would be talented enough to make a change?), The best way is to create your own effort.

I don't believe there is much difference between organizations, people are persuaded to work together for something, art movements, revolutionary movements, going to Africa on a health mission to feed the poor or deciding to interview people who walk the streets, these are all efforts to engage with your situation, and the trademark of any good effort is dedication.

I'm not saying people aren't dedicated today, but are they really anything to compare? I'm probably just not sitting with the big boys who are changing history as we speak, cult leaders, true believers, artists(lol), politicians.

>late stage capitalism

Do braindead marxists actually believe this or something?

try meditation. it helps

>only option is adopting supreme personal responsibility
Yup. Actual atheist Buddhism/Christianity, shit you can believe it if you want, as long as you're doing it

>capitalism will go on forever

do you honestly believe this?

pictureofdumbconservative.jpg

>socialism is the next stage of history after capitalism because I read it in a magic book

do you honestly believe this?

pictureofdumbleftist.jpg

i mean who’s to say what system will replace it/how it will change, but i don’t think you can look at the state of global 21st century capitalism and not see a way of being that is full of contradictions and speeding towards its end

The main problem is you're dumb enough to think the current system is this thing called "capitalism".
In reality, it's a massively government controlled ponzi scheme controlled by central banks.
