anime is a superior artistic medium to literature, this is why. I stopped reading about the same time I started watching anime(age twenty-three) and I haven't gone back. words on a page can't compete with pic related. the mixture of visual, auditory, and written artwork as well as the exploration of the ideal in the female companionship our instincts force us to crave, effectively replacing that aspect of our livelihood with something more efficient.
I am being 100% unironic here. books are fucking toilet paper compared to anime. I've read an enormous portion of both Yea Forums's and academia's meme books and I'd erase them from my memory in exchange for a good fifty episode mahou shoujo series. literally give up on literature, it's outdated technology. everything you need to know can be learned through more concise articles and audio material, any story you want to hear can be more skillfully and efficiently portrayed in another medium. save yourself money on toilet paper and start bringing books from your shelf of egotism to the bathroom to rip up.

To me, the greatest indicator of anime being a degenerate medium is it's incredible success among black people. Blacks generally serve a great function as a litmus test of sorts for the artistic depth found in various forms of art and entertainment - if negroid population enjoys something chances are likely that it's shallow, superficial, and appealing only to stupid people.

Your story is the opposite of mine. I'm I9 and stopped watching anime (Was never hardcore into it, even as a kid most shows felt vapid and repetitive) and began reading literature. I doubt you actually believe what you just typed up there, yet I'm reminded that the tastelessness of humans is indefinitely being proven. I rather choose to acknowledge that you've written a caricature of a person instead. One who isn't fit for a literature hobby.
