Have you tried both? Grossman's just flows so fucking well. It's translated in a way that keeps the humor and anxiety fresh, in my opinion

I quite like this cover of it, based on the great escapade in Part 2 where the Don mounts a wooden horse and demonstrates the meaning of mind over matter. Plus if we must be truthful the amount of worthy books that will receive 400th anniversary commemorative editions in our lifetime can be counted on one finger
