What book publishers have the best overall top quality paperbacks?
Best Paperbacks
Yallready know, it's NYRB.
The Black Library has beautiful paperbacks too
I mean I am sitting right next to an NYRB copy of Speedboat that I keep as a coffee table book because its so damn nice
I like NYRB because you can take a punt with their books and they'll generally be decent. A great curation of lesser-known classics presented in an appealing way.
Oxford for content. NYRB for presentation. Vintage because they have cool authors.
Norton Critical Editions. Oxford World's Classics is a close second. NYRB is third
I would also like to know of other publisher with good paperbacks.
I can't buy penguin classics flimsy paperbacks anymore, and the thing is they are close to same price as nyrb.
>Norton Critical Editions
This depends on the book, lot of the newer ones have that "free religious book"- tier paper.

it's really a shame since otherwise they're great
Only nyrb i have is stoner, what else should i buy from them?
They're cheap but I like the 90s Vintage classics that you can sit open on a table or in your lap
>finding nyrb in thrift stores
