I disagree with that in concept, but I will read the person you recommended. In my view, there is politics concerning reality, how we govern and make the best situation for people right now, and then ideological politics. For example, I might believe voting for a certain candidate will make us better off, and do so, while still believing for example that anarchism is the only true way life and liberty can be satisfactorily experienced (not my actual view) even if that will never come to fruition, or is impossible.

The nature of libertarianism is to avoid politics by delegating it to the processes of nature and capitalism to sort out. I respect them for that but they will never escape politics vocally, for to do so it to participate. fyi, the hat meme is a fiction. It was forced by reddit and the progressive crowd to censor opinions they didn't like.
