What are some novels with this aesthetic? I've read Mishima.

blatant homosexuality? Try Wilde
Try Mein Kampf
not OP, but light homoerotica unironically makes this kind of shit better. praising the visual Reich while not agreeing fully with the ideology, and light gay tones add a touch of suitable sarcasm to it
Wow, it's like you caught me in picture form.
Literally just socialist realism, as prosaic and dreary under Hitler as under Stalin or the Works Progress Administration.
>no Troost sculpture
pleb
Also, Inside The Third Reich by Albert Speer
>all heroic realism is socialist realism
All cars are Hondas
>socialist realism
fuck off commie.
> socrealism
oh fuck, if you read it from your postmodernist point of view, it's the subtlest bitter satire on the regime + unironically praised aesthetic. recommended.
t. i like reading soviet shit
I hate all of it, is what I'm getting at.
Whatever lit recommends you
Ironically, How German Is It
Unironically...I don't know, but it's a good question
haha great pic OP please delet
>the guy in the top left corner
>Luger
>Death In June
>"I know what they did was horrible"
This is surprisingly accurate to me. I even have a similar turtleneck to what Mosley wears.
Fascism is a thoroughly retarded ideology, but they had a great sense of aesthetics. I don't like to praise the Third Reich as much though, since unlike Fascist Italy, they failed to produce any new artistic movements and were simply content to mimic Greco-Roman aesthetics without fully understanding the subtleties of them. They also a laughable understanding of romanticism.
I guess another reason for me to hate the Nazis is how they stigmatised the notion of nice aesthetics.
*top right corner I mean.
>Fascism is a thoroughly retarded ideology
yikes
Nazis had some aesthetic shit too desu
I know they are not novels but LAIBACH have some books about 'emselves
>Laibach & NSK – Die Inquisitionsmaschine im Kreuzverhör
>Gesamtkunstwerk Laibach
The point of the picture is removing the ideology from the art. I think Zizek even did a bit on this with Rammstein as an example
Listen to lots of industrial and neo folk then
Avoid modernism completely. Hitler hated it
just learn to appreciate bauhaus/brutalism and other modernist artstyles without the whole facist aspect. almost all of their aesthetic elements where not self invented but developed by artists that came before them
lmfao this was me 10 years ago. nsbm and neofolk primed me to go down a really, really deep rabbit hole.
i remember reading the lyrics to pic rel, wondering what made them nazis, realizing what made them nazis, then wondering why that was a bad thing.
starship troopers
boring take
Skinheads are better than anything u wish to become 88
>Cosey Fanni Tutti
Is it a good read? Neat shelf btw user.
yea it's pretty well written for an autobiography, easy to read and very personal and engaging. Helps you appreciate a lot of things in the scene more as well as dislike some things. I loved it a lot plus I really enjoy cosey as a person and of course throbbing gristle. Also this is the newest shelf with more industrial literature
Dope I'll check it out. Are you into making any sort of experimental stuff yourself?
>fascist aesthetics
>a Luger
That would be Imperial Germany
im mostly into making power electronics and some musique concrète recordings. Nothing really established. I like making shitty videos about industrial records and tapes more than anything for now. i would definitely suggest the neofolk books, especially for this thread.
Looking for Europe: Neofolk & underground
>blatant homosexuality?
yes
>Il Conformista
>Fascist aesthetic
Did you even watch the movie? For that matter, did you even watch the scene from which that image was taken? Or are you just an absolute drooling subhuman?
I gotta give it to 'em, the nazis and fascists in general were absolute masters in aesthetics. This coming from a filthy lefty. .
this
A lot of it was influenced by socialist movements
>England's Hidden Reverse
David Tibet has the best stories
