Here’s my thoughts on the climate change, nature vs culture and so on.

Number one: In regards to the OP, eco-fascism, as with any other form of fascism, is pure aesthetics and only useful for LARP’ing. (No, killing all non-whites won’t stop climate change).

Number two: Climate change is more or less a sham. Humans have always been changing the
environment around them, which has been a catastrophe for all the plant- and animal life surrounding humans, both primitive and civilised.
The best example of this, would of course be the old world, Europe. I live in Denmark, which might be the biggest climate disaster in the world. Not a single old-growth forest remains and the bio-diversity is a joke. Yet when it comes to climate change, our attention is always diverted as far away as possible, whether it’s deforestation in the amazon, or the all-consuming apocalyptic climate disaster that’s been looming in the distance since at least the 80’s. Meanwhile, Denmark is praised for its rolling green hills, long stretches of grassland, fields and heath, (all of them man-made).

Number three: Our current climate philosophy is a conservative one,
And in the case of climate, conservatism is by default a losing ideology. All living things, like us, want to prosper, thrive and spread. If our only goal is to conserve nature, as we humans view it, it won’t have long to go. Our ideology needs to be revolutionary, if nature can’t prosper by itself in the age of humans, we need to help it. Our minds have evolved to be quicker than natural evolution, so that leaves us with two options: Slow down, or bring nature up to speed.

Number four: How to stop climate change sorta,
First step is of course to smash the state, which is conservative by default. True change always comes from the bottom and up, and the climate won’t have time to wait for politicians. Mass-production and capitalism, (a highly in-efficient and anti-ecological system), can only be maintained through the state. I’ll take Denmark and its meat industry as an example. It has always made good sense to keep livestock in the colder regions of the world, keeping live animals was a sure way of getting food through the winter. But eating meat was always either a luxury or a necessity, today it is neither. When you look at the numbers, livestock-farming is way more inefficient than simply farming crops. Denmark is a huge exporter of meat, but its agriculture is billions of danish crowns in debt. That’s why the state and the EU is funnelling money into inefficient agri-cultural practices, to keep the export going and the capitalist system of producing more than needed running.
Other examples include: States funding the automobile industry by building roads and bridges using taxpayer money, along with other infrastructure such as airports, harbours and so on…
Distributing land rights to already wealthy corporations and people, (in Denmark, the state even gave Denmarks only oil reserves to Mærsk, a multi-billion dollar company :)
Preventing decentralisation and a peer-to-peer production economy through copyright and intellectual property laws.

I am reading Linkola's "Can Life Prevail" right now and while it's really comfy to listen to him talk about old life in Finland and all the types of animals, it feels like it lacks the depth that Ted has. I'll definitely finish it because I like his writing style, but it is a lot different than I expected it to be. The fact that it is divided up into small essays is also unexpected.
I'd like to read about religion and ecology so if any anons have any books about that let me know.

Linkola isn't a deep writer desu but he's really fun/"fun" to read. He's not a great thinker and doesn't really even try to be, most of his writings have been originally published in various magazines and such. This is also the reason why his books are collections of essays. What I really like about him is that he is just an admirer of beauty at heart and most of his resentment towards the modern way of life seems to come from its ugliness.

I just ordered a new Linkola today (Unelmat paremmasta maailmasta), can't wait to read.

Yeah, I'm Finnish. The rest of his work will be probably "more of the same" tier except for his very early stuff when he was a pacifist. Still good though, he's a great writer and apparently it shows through the translations too. The publisher of the English edition of Can Life Prevail seems super niche but maybe they will translate another work some day.

Nuclear is good idea, as long it's executed correctly (this is the hard part). Only solar power out of all renewables appear to be worthy compromise between environment destruction and benefits. The nature needs isolated space first and foremost. Solar panels can be placed on top of the man-made structures and this is why it's good for nature.
