What are some of the obvious dangers with Heideggers philosophy? I mean in reference to him joining the nazi party of course. And how much was he a product of his own time, and conversely how much did he contribute to what actually happened? Obviously things like anti-semitism was very common, but I am thinking of more in-depth things that people held as true which might have had consequences.

Most problematic is to associate, as Heidegger did, the "techno-rational modernity" with "world Judaism." And this really highlights how, although he saw himself as the would-be official philosopher of the Third Reich, his form of antisemitism - one said informed more by his lower-class, rural Catholic upbringing - never fit with Nazi racial theories. Indeed, in a stunning display of a failure of self-awareness, in the pages of the Black Notebooks, Heidegger attributes the mass murder of Jews with systematic and technological efficiency to, you guessed it, "world Judaism."

He runs around unplugging t.v.s and dashes through nice forests strolls.

He should have just called it Capital instead of Judaism.

Heidegger’s thinking is utilized primarily to undo a contradiction of social science. social science focuses on the social, however starts with the idea of basically non-social egos that somehow generate a social world.
