How long would your manifesto be?
What would you include in it?

500 pgs.
200 pgs on autistic rambling about metaphysical and epistemological questions (including whether or not statistics are representative of reality), 250 pgs. on the rules for a universal system of ethics, and 50 pgs. on how agreement can arise in matters of aesthetics and ethics.

That's not a manifesto. That's just a dogmatic work of philosophy.

Hello FBI

Manifest for the Pan-Mediterranean alliance against the Anglo.

3000 pages
Everything I can remember happening around myself

Mine would be about how technology has removed a true sense of community and thus modern society has nothing to blame but itself for atrocities committed. Fragmentation is a result of a common enemy that has us all too glued to the teat of mass media and technology to recognize.

Books on the question of whether statistics are representative of reality?

Was it really the census that split India in three?

It would be a thirty page (30p.) analysis of the manifesto as a literary form. Starting from the Declaration of Independence and it's various parodies, up through the artistic manifestos that briefly dominated Europe in the last century, through to our present day lone-wolf style of manifesto.
Ideas present would be that every manifesto requires by way of stylistic convention a body count. The size of the body count doesn't necessarily have any correlation with quality, however without an initial blood sacrifice the manifesto is innately impotent and pointless.
I'd try to connect the initial stylistic contributions of art manifestos, particularly their flamboyant and avant-garde nature to later developments in fascism, mass media, and terrorism. The Karlov Assassination for example, was a clear continuation of tactics initially invented by the Dada's during their Cabaret Voltaire performances. Modern fashion is influenced by many of the ideas of the Italian Futurists, who were some of the first to come up with planned obsolescence. Obviously the airplane was the subject of much modernist propaganda, especially the futurists, D'Annuzio's flight over Vienna, and Leni Riefenstahl, but it was arguably Usama ibn Mohammed ibn Awad ibn Ladin who completed the genre by utilizing the camera and the airplane during 9/11 as a protest against modernity.
There would also be a several page discussion on the use of first person singular vs first person plural narrative voice, written in the second person:
"You read Industrial Society and its Future, and are struck by a deep feeling in your guy, that of conspiracy. With it's repetitive use of first person plural voice, you can almost believe that all those bombings were orchestrated by a shadowy organization of radical environmentalists. After all, who could believe that just one person could do all that damage? Reading the Decoration of Independence, you are imbued with a revolutionary feeling, as though their "We" includes "You", dear reader. Perhaps this writing convention, relatively rare in other literary forms, is best explained in Sergey Nechayev's manifesto, Catechism of a Revolutionary :"(the revolutionary) has no private interests, no affairs, sentiments, ties, property nor even a name of his own. His entire being is devoured by one purpose, one thought, one passion - the revolution." In revolutionary moments, you are not you, you are a cause, a we. Je suis l'autre is the root of all revolution, without which is pure egoism and thrill-seeking. And you aren't an egoist, are you?"
...
"At the same time, many manifestos, particularly of the lone wolf variety, might better be considered aggrandized suicide notes. My Dark Twisted World, Dorner's To America, etc. are all deeply personal, and you might say that they are all the better for it. They humanize the inhuman, and by ignoring the conventions of selflessness, invoke all the honesty of a man on the verge of death."

Hume, Kant, Boas, and Taleb all wrote (or have written, in the last person's case) parts of books on quantitative methods, statistics, and the possibility of knowing things by the means of numerical representations. I've actually thought of making a thesis on this very subject, but I feel like a project like this would probably not find much favour amongst the statistician community, since it might just seem like the work of a Philosophy student attempting to discredit their field by the means of pseudo-Cartesian/Wittgensteinian claims regarding the impossibility of correctly judging a thing-in-itself.

That's my kind of manifesto! Hopefully it will include some impractical or extreme solutions that no one will like.

manifestos are for fags. i would just print out a picture of me touching my pp

who are you even killing with this kind of manifesto?

MFA students via fertilizer bomb

Manifestos are vanity. I would simply carry out that which needs to be done, and not let those to whom it will be done have any further information before the fact. On the contrary of another famous manifesto, no decent respect, or any consideration whatever, is due to the opinions of mankind.

To borrow some banal examples from popular culture: the manifesto is a form of "monologuing", as described by the supervillain Syndrome in The Incredibles. A classic comic book/action movie trope. The potential doer's hubris, while the plot allows him to be defeated in the time that it took him to write or say what he had to say. The Dr. Evil character plays with the same trope.

Just tap them twice in the head and be done with it.

30k in collection of essays about socio-cybernetics, occult n stuff. it's odd because ive been having these ideas before and then boom i go on Yea Forums and see friends talking about accelerationism. i havent read any of land's stuff or any accelerationist stuff. just so happens i randomly went down this path. 2 me capital being sentient is a truism, but from my casual attempt to browse what land talks about, my metaphysical basis is different from him. uh, my influences are primarily from the ctmu, principia cybernetica, chaos matrix, rayn gryphon, meme magick books, etc. not really manifesto tho

i remember making a post on Yea Forums a few months ago looking for manifestos to take influence from because i honestly didn't have any big teleology on how the world should progress. i also remember asking about manifestos on wizchan. im assuming this talk about manifestos is influenced by the shooter tho

if anyone already has a manifesto do post!

Do you think there is a market these troubled days for a freelance Manifest Editor? Talk about a Yea Forums job. We might yet make it, anons.

I will express my ideas trough fiction since i'm not a turbo pleb

IS might be hiring; CIA always is. If you think about it online radicalization is kind of like an immersive and interactive work of psychological fiction

this is Yea Forums not Yea Forums
