The whole Doomer aesthetic has been co-opted by Redditors who produce over-egged and cringeworthy 'meme videos', using pre-existing memes as catalysts for their own aspirant internet fame. The Doomer represents everything that Wojak already represents, and only exists for egocentric self-identification on the web: 'yes, yes, the Doomer, that is who I am!'. Stop worshipping these flimsy reflections of the human experience as some sort of 'identity'.

Actually TAIPEI and selected tweets might be some of the most pessimistic works I've read lately. They even express pessimism about the novel and literature in general, I think they might be anti-communication period.
Not good but definitely an experience.
It's not. It's a commodified version of human experience designed to make you feel comfortable with inadequacy and failure. People who relate to doomer memes are simply trying to justify their flaws by finding like-minded people with which to share their woes. If you want to be miserable, that's fine, but at least be a man and be miserable on your own terms instead of indulging in this emotional masturbation.
