I highly recommend The War on Normal People. Just finished it recently. Scary but hopeful. It's a lot like Tucker Carlson's book, in that they diagnose much the same problem, but Yang actually has solutions.

Yang's solutions seem to be along the line of "Free income for everyone, but also unlimited immigration". Ubi is just a federal subsidy of international capitalism.
