Looking for novels like War and Peace in which they are massive in scope; just a grand story that has dozens of characters, storylines, maybe takes place over several years/decades, etc.

Bonus points if it's something written semi-recently/past 100 years or so.

East of Eden is not in the same ballpark as War and Peace.
