I watched Apocalypse Now final cut alone at the cinema recently and I had never watched any version before. Cinema was nearly empty, everyone was quiet and well-behaved. It was the most kino experience of my life.

the proportionaite effort of going to the cinema as opposed to watching movies in comfort of home with good headphones or speakers still makes the trade-off not worth it, however if there is a movie in which audiences would react or enhance the experience i'd be there
