Does anyone actually still give a shit about movies or television unironically?

Not that I don't appreciate cinema, but I've always appreciated television far more for the potential of longform storytelling it could provide. Shame that it's only really started to deliver in the last decade.

Of course.
I attend to my local film festival every year and travel for a couple international ones.

Of course. But these days it's more about finding films and shows that awake something inside me. The desire to live, if you will. Idk. Something that makes me think that maybe life is not so shitty after all. Recently I watched Princess Kaguya and it's only one movie from the few that fit the description I made.

Of course. BvS, Sneed, Mask, the list goes on.

Not desire to live, sorry. More like, make me feel alive, as in, provoking emotions inside me. Because otherwise I might as well be dead inside. When films and shows don't fill that emotional void inside me idk what the fuck I will do. It's either suicide or writing.

Even more of a shame it only lasted for a few years before storytelling standards dipped so low most things are unwatchable.
