The way zombie portrayed it, he took away all the mystery behind his madness and made it more blatantly obvious that this kid lived in the worst household and got treated like shit and made a little more sense on why he was the way he was

If the entirety of the Halloween II movie was that opening where Michael kills doctors and nurses looking for her (paying homage to the original), and then chases her throughout town where he kills near-by Haddonfield residents that try to aid her and he eventually gets set on fire and killed it would've been an amazing movie.

If he had done this Im guessing Zombie would've gotten to do more sequels and 2018 Halloween wouldn't be a thing

Brad Douriff and Danielle Harris and the opening hospital scene were the best parts of that movie. Sheri Moon Zombie and Scout Taylor Compton bring the whole film down.

This was the laziest Halloween movie in the franchise. Felt like Halloween Greatest Hits Vol. 1. The doctor plot at the end was absolutely retarded. The grand daughter was a horrible actress and looked 30 playing a high schooler. The high school bullshit was all cringe. The forced humor was cringe due to that Canadian faggot Danny McBride. This movie was so disappointing.

I thought the granddaughter did okay, but I agree with everything else. The humor was extremely out of place. Also, the opening credits were oddly jarring.

2 was way better than 1.

Maybe she deserves a break because it was her first movie and Jamie Lee Curtis and Judy Greer just overshadow her. Also like I said all the high school stuff was awful and she was the focus of it so maybe it wasn't all her acting and how her character was written. This movie pissed me off.
