Predictions for how other MCU films handle this? Will they explain Spider-Man's disappearence or will they just forget about him completely?

Realistically, Batman and Superman are bigger superheroes than Spider-Man, and Warner Bros fucked that up. MCU should buy Warner Bros as well and make DC films as well as Marvel films

Batman is bigger than Spider-Man, but not by all that much. Superman always gets lumped in because he’s a recognizable name, but he’s nowhere near as big as Spider-Man in terms of actual popularity. Nobody’s favorite superhero is Superman. Saying a Superman movie would automatically do better than a Spider-Man movie simply based on name recognition is like saying that a Santa Clause movie would be guaranteed to beat a Spider-Man movie. I guess it could happen if the conditions are right, but it’s far from a bygone conclusion
