I've been bothered by this a lot lately. It seems fantasy ended in 1989. Netflix is trying to revive the Dark Crystal, but they don't seem to understand what made it good in the first place. Trailer came out a couple of days ago. What do Yea Forums guys think?

Every time they switch from the cool puppets to the generic boring CGI it looks so jarring and bad
