Alright...

Alright, first I want to say damn this show is still the best scifi tv show we have despite how old it is (and yes I know it's already a remake).

Now I have questions:
> If Cylons during season 1 and 2 had clear plans about the humans on Galactica (especially after Hera is on board), why did they kept attacking and putting the colonial fleet in enormous danger they barely survived ? I mean if they really wanted to destroy the humans they clearly could have done it easily and if they wanted to just pretend, it was very reckless of them.

> Why everyone immediatly assume ALL humans in the colonies are immediatly dead after the nukes ? Nukes don't work like that. We see a very small resistance group around Anders but it's obvious millions of humans should be in the same situation. Yet they apparently did nothing and died quietly.

> Humans have a very efficient FTL drive and clearly it's not new. Why are they limited to 12 planets ? Why the 12 colonies don't have... colonies ? The same way, Kobol seems pretty near the colonial space so why nobody rediscovered it before the war ? Are they bound by religions to never leave the 12 colonies ?

> How do they get food ?

The Cylons had a plan. Not the writers.

The Cylons never had a real plan they spent their entire lives fighting and backstabbing each other. The only thing they ever all agreed on was the initial attack.

They needed to cut the fleet off from help or resources. They spend the rest of the show running into proof they're not the only humans left over and over.

This I'm not really sure about. I'm not even sure about the colonies themselves. 12 planets in one system all habitable? That's some Firefly shit. lol.

One or two of the planets where giant farms that could feed billions apparently. In the fleet they had ships that could do the same for them on a small scale.

it's not the best though, it started really strong then went to complete dogshit.

Name a better scifi show

It's not said the 12 colonies are all in the same system

Is there no Battlestar related TV show in preparation ? It's a great universe and now they're rebooting everything, i'm amazed Netflix hasn't announced some first war prequel or other shit.

It's some fucky 4 star system where they all orbit the same barycenter or some shit like that. It looks super cool though.

>Why are they limited to 12 planets ?
Might not be a fun answer, but I think it mostly just ties in with the whole religious aspect, not necessarily of the lore or anything, but more the actual themes and atmosphere of the series.

>How do they get food ?
I think they have a few ships that are capable of growing a bit of food, other than that, rationing, I remember something about them eating algae or some shit.

There was no plan outside of the initial attack. I'm pretty sure the writers made it up as they went and just dropped it.

One could say they "LOST" it
