*makes a shitty movie*

>nonsensical user forgot to take his meds

Fine, justify shallow romantic subplot and long boring sex scenes.
The fact that it shows protagonists desire to live or something doesn't make it less tiresome.

It worked great in Mulholland Drive as well. It's referred to as "inner journey" rather than the way you put it. It was more obscure in MD because it was supposed to be a pilot.

>justify shallow romantic subplot
The main plot in the movie is about being cheated on, infidelity, betrayal, etc. Why do you think it's shallow and a subplot at all???

>long boring sex scenes
I remember one near the beginning, which shows Bill's wife isn't "in it" when they have sex, and another where he can't have her (which is the same thing really), and both are extremely relevant, because they both show how his dream woman is out of reach, even when he is literally inside her (and if you can't have her from the inside, you can never have her at all). If there are others, remind me.

>The fact that it shows protagonists desire to live or something doesn't make it less tiresome.
I have no clue what you're talking about here. Are you sure you're thinking of Lost Highway?

reminder that Scaruffi rates Mirror Man higher than Doc at the Radar Station. He has objectively bad taste.

It makes sense though. I can explain anything in Lost Highway and Mulholland Drive. Ask away.

>THE MADNESS OF REASON LMAO
fucking undergrads lap this shit up

why did he cast such an ugly person for the fugue portion of Lost Highway? It really makes the movie hard to watch.

Thought movie is about dying from cancer, but maybe i was deceived by someone else reddit opinion.
>Why do you think it's shallow
Bitch is boring. You don't even have any idea why protagonist likes her except the dick.
>where he can't have her
this one almost made me skip fast forward
