Pleb disguising as cinéaste detected with 100% reliability.
Most of Bergmans stuff is pretty good. Sweden also had some nice Silent movie clobas with the danes and germans during the 20's (Haxan, Korkarlen, Faust)
Aki Kaurismaki
Sampo
Aki Kaurismäki.
Yeah, I already mentioned him, shithead.

I've only ever seen one Islandic film. It was called Jar City and it was an okay thriller/mystery.
Pusher
Both you and me know that I am right.
Denmark has good movies. To name a few:
The Guilty
Pusher trilogy
In China they eat dogs
Flickering Lights
Adams aebler
The Green Butchers
Jagten
Night Watch
Olsen Banden movies
Both Triers (Joakim and Lars)
Von Trier is quite good.
>Have these countries made anything decent worth watching?
Olsenbanden is Norwegian
Let the right one in.
The Hunt
the original Millenium trilogy
The Bothersome Man is a cool movie.
they make crime drama kino
Omaha scene was better. The soldiers yelling "perkele" was fucking stupid too.
Funniest movie I saw in a long while. Dont watch the trailer, it just gives everything away.
Came here to post this, enjoyed it the whole way through but I didn't like the ending
>**********Nordic********** countries
>it's not even that cold there
Nordic my ass
Nope, but there has been made (far superior) Norwegian versions of them.

No. No country except USA and Jewish diaspora have made movies worth watching.
Danes made Pusher.
>Tromso
>-18c is the coldest recorded temperature
Kek, where the fuck did you get this retarded picture?
It's not uncommon for the temp to go below -40c in the northern regions of Norway, and even Oslo goes below -20 at times.

Tromso is near the coast, so it doesn't get super cold. In fact, they have warmer winters than Oslo. You need to go inland to find the extreme temperatures, like Osterdalen and Finnmarksvidda. Still, -40C is not common and only happens a few times a year.
Is-slottet (The Ice Palace) is mandatory Norwegian kino.
Terkel i knibe :---DDDD
wrong, but I still prefer Norwegian Olsenbanden. They actually have a crossover in one movie I believe.

Why are estonians such nordaboos?
Lillyhammer
Don't know. Estonia is basically Scandinavia except white and has low taxes. Don't know why they'd want to "into nordic"

These two should be available with english subs, at least.

the cutting to the contemporary plotline completely ruined the pacing for me. Would watch a supercut with only the 19th century parts

They're the oldest flags that exist. People hadn't figured out originality yet

Yes, but most of the movies are done in their native language and not really made for an international audience
Just use subs

Flags aren't meant to have originality, they're meant to have recognisability. And that's something Nordic flags are very good at since despite their similar design the color schemes are unmistakably distinct from each other. Now, compare some of the "tricolor" flags, all with a red, white and blue stripe, or the flags of Monaco and Poland, both half red and half white. They just don't have that kind of unique look to them.
We are irrelevant, stop being obsessed with such a small population of people

Yes, but for me it's Agnes

Absolutely patrician
Monicamilf would like a word with you. And literally miss Norway. And, kinda, Vicky Vette
Not him, but I can't really see what someone not Scandinavian will get out of something like .
>Hur gick det för negern då
>How did it go for the black guy
Bit of a shame actually, it's pretty neat having a fap to your countrywomen every once in a while rather than just Americans or Japanese. But man is it hard to find stuff to watch.

There’s a video of malin gramer from sweden getting tickle tortured by a giant masked nigger for a tv show
It’s pretty hot

Klovn is kind of a Curb your Enthusiasm clone, but absolutely brilliant and almost on par with the original. And being European they can explore more dangerous territory.
This. Dag is amazing.
I don't know if the movie's just suffering porn but I liked it as a teenager.
I feel you enjoy this more the less you know about the author.
Kinosaur
This movie is incredible. It really is suffering porn, though. Don't think I've seen it since I was maybe twelve. Not really a movie you watch more than twice at most

Everytime someone makes one of these threads while I am browsing I always recommend Kalamari Union - a Kaurismäki comedy from early 80's, it's like you take cold war era finnish depressive humor and mash it with absurd comedy. But I don't think there's that many english translations for it.

The movie version is shit, there is a much longer and better version that aired on Finish TV but its nowhere to be found online

jylland and själland isn't in scandinavia. can danes just accept this allready?
I sincerely hope this is bait
because if they don't actively align with scandi/nordics they get lumped in with slavs because of their geography. better to be associated with finland and sweden than russia and latvia.

absolute top tier Icelandic murder mystery / thriller series that you can watch for free on amazon prime. basically, a small town in the middle of nowhere gets cutoff from the world due to a storm, and the tiny police department of like 3 people has to contend with a string of murders.
one of the best series ive seen in years, I highly recommend it
someone post the emails
That's what I was hoping Fortitude would be, but then it became ridiculous.
Thale is fucking garbage, drep deg selv.
this is actually really good
as someone who has seen the girl with the dragon tattoo (both us and Sweden versions) but not any of the other movies, is this worth watching?
As a dane this made me laugh out loud. Olsen Banden is so popular even people in Africa know about them.
I didn't even realise that our swedish Jönssonligan was just an adaptation of Olsen banden until this very thread.
>so popular even people in Africa know about them
the sadest claim of relevance i've ever heard
recently?
Norway made Trollhunter. That was pretty great.
there's alot of jokes in thar movie where you're supposed to laugh with the character instead of at them. the hallmark of a truly subhuman script writer

lol good luck, extras without speaking lines dont get credited, part of that whole screen actors guild thing
How is Faust related to Scandinavia? I thought that was a purely german production.

Fatso is depressing as fuck. You just know that loser will fall back into his old habits soon enough when the first rejections for his comics come in and the cunt will find another toxic relationship and some incel to cuck and abuse for emotional stability.
Skandi comedies, the only comedies that make you want to kill yourself.
