2016- The Young Pope 2017-? 2018- The Terror 2019- Chernobyl
What was the unexpected kino show from 2017? A show that just dropped out of nowhere without any anticipation and instantly became a SOTY candidate. Don't say Twin Peaks: The Return because it was very anticipated and we all knew it would be kino.
I stopped watching The Young Pope about 10 minutes in. It was bizarre. Felt really cheap and nasty in spite of the sets and costumes and I found the whole scenario very strange. I guess that was the point but it certainly wasn't for me.
Elijah Sanchez
Yeah but it wasn't hugely anticipated except for people that know/like Sorrentino and follow his career. I didn't know about him until TYP came out, same as most people this side of the Atlantic ocean.

>that spade over his entire abdomen so he fucks black guys?
Asher Carter
Sometimes he did, sometimes he didn't.
Ethan Rodriguez
It's my second favorite show ever but the first season didn't come out in 2017 you brainlet
Brayden Cox
He had some "doubts" but overall yes, and deeply at that.
Jacob Smith
At least now you know him. Loro was disappointing, hopefully The New Pope will be good. You should try it again, it's hard to judge after 10 minutes.
The first ep is kinda strange, felt like Sorrentino wasnt really sure on the tone of the whole thing. Give the show another chance, pure kino imo.
Charles Mitchell
2016 was "the night of"
Isaac Bell
2019 is Too Old to Die Young. Chernobyl is pure reddit garbage, down to the strong female who can do everything
Anthony Cook
Nah it went downhill after the pilot
Michael Torres
I love that show
Bentley Parker
Too Old to Die Young has cringy female characters too. I have only seen 8 episodes but that mexican women is cringe as fuck. Jesus is also a terrible character. Martin and Viggo are the only decent characters.
Colton Price
2017 was Dark
Ian Roberts
Anyone else cringes when reading the word kino? It's embarrassing at this point
