2016- The Young Pope

2016- The Young Pope
2017-?
2018- The Terror
2019- Chernobyl

What was the unexpected kino show from 2017? A show that just dropped out of nowhere without any anticipation and instantly became a SOTY candidate.
Don't say Twin Peaks: The Return because it was very anticipated and we all knew it would be kino.

The Young Pope was not unexpected. It's directed by Sorrentino, he is a very good director.

I'm still too much of a brainlet to understand The Young Pope. Did Lenny believe in Jesus or not?

>2017-?

First episode was technically 2015 from amazons pilot thing, but the rest of the season released in 2017.

I stopped watching The Young Pope about 10 minutes in. It was bizarre. Felt really cheap and nasty in spite of the sets and costumes and I found the whole scenario very strange. I guess that was the point but it certainly wasn't for me.

Yeah but it wasn't hugely anticipated except for people that know/like Sorrentino and follow his career. I didn't know about him until TYP came out, same as most people this side of the Atlantic ocean.

>that spade over his entire abdomen
so he fucks black guys?

Sometimes he did, sometimes he didn't.

It's my second favorite show ever but the first season didn't come out in 2017 you brainlet
