>Brain Damage
(or any henenlotter film for that matter)
budget but it has some sweet feely moments
>Jacob's Ladder
confusing and horryfying
>Braindead
perhaps it lacks the dreamish cinematography but it so well executed anyway
>Cemetery Man (Dellamorte Dellamore)
underrated and should be a Yea Forums-staple
>Hardware
same as above
good calls

>Amer
a dreamy Giallo, a bit too artsy for me though
>Viy
soviet old movie, is what those are

Thanks for your input Jay

Phantasm?
Don't Look Now definitely fits the bill
As does Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn
and Hellraiser 2 and Sleepy Hollow

This and Dead Ringers

Zeitgeist

Both are awful and over-rated by art fags.

Better than the "novel"

Inland Empire is the most nightmarish film I have ever seen, it's my favorite kino of all time. It's 3 hours long and it keeps shifting and inverting into weird ass scenarios like multiple dreams overlapping and blending together. I found it very psychologically penetrating with its "ugly" aesthetic and eerie sound design.

Crash (1996) based on J. G. Ballard's novel
